Your Baby’s Bath

I think there’s nothing more precious than bathing your little prince or princess.  My husband and I love giving our girls their bath. We have since the first day we put them into the miniature baby bath and watched them squirm, not knowing what to expect, but feeling so warm in the comforting bath water.  Our bath schedule is every other night, right before bedtime stories, warm water, gentle baby soap, a fluffy towel, sweet smelling moisturizer and clean cozy pajama’s. There are so many brands of baby bath and body products out there.  I have used many, I can’t complain about any.  As long as my baby is happy after her bath and is warm and content, that is all that matters.   This time of year it’s important to lather your babies in moisturizer.  There skin tends to get super dry in the winter (just like ours).  To make sure they stay moisturized, don’t forget a little extra on the knee’s and elbows.  Here are some of my favorite baby bath and body products that always put a smile on my girls faces before bedtime.

Johnson & Johnson Head-To-Toe Baby Wash $3.59 (target.com)  A must have.

We swear by J&J’s bedtime bath around here. Used it, along with the lotion, since day 1 with our girls. Also, Averi now uses the aquaphor b/c she has ecszema and it works the best of anything we’ve tried! and we’ve been through A LOT for her sensitive skin.

I’ve got to pick up some aquaphor for Gracie. She has ecszema on her knee’s!! Poor little thing.

My favorite was Grins and Giggles, by Gerber, the Oatmeal Scent. I can’t find it anywhere. I think they stopped making it….If anyone knows where I can find it, please let me know :)
