Find the Cure
We started Secret Suburb Society for fabulous moms like us to have something fun and exciting to read everyday… fashion, gossip, parenting advice etc.…. And what better way to keep up to date with everything than to hear it from a fellow amazing mama! After having our blog up for a few weeks we realized that we could actually use our space on the internet to help make a difference in this world. Don’t worry we will still keep it fun and have fabulous giveaways and point you to wonderful fashion deals, but we will provide information about how you our readers can join us in eliminating breast cancer once and for all. We have all been affected by breast cancer in one way or another. Some of us it has touched much more personally. (My mother passed away from it a year ago and I am determined to help find a cure). We would like use our blog to raise awareness about this terrible disease. We want to hear from you, our readers. Some of you are survivors, some of you are fighting the battle right now. We want you to know that we support each and every one of you. Every week we will post a new way that you can support breast cancer research in our new “Find the Cure” box. Leave a message of hope and support for others or tell us your story.

Wanted to share a post that my family friend Sharon wrote about my mother (who recently passed away from the disease) on her blog http://www.momgenerations.com.
